Cartoon for Young Patients
Large scale medical equipment such as a computed tomography (CT) scanner can often be frightening to children. Siemens Healthcare therefore wanted to produce a cartoon to prepare young patients for a CT scan. Spirit Link Medical developed the concept for the cartoon and produced the film.
In order to explain to children how a CT scanner works, Spirit Link Medical created the child-friendly characters of Tomo and Graphy who take photographs inside the scanner of the body regions under investigation.
The short cartoon can be played either in the waiting room or directly at the CT scanner work station, so that children learn in a fun way not to be afraid of the scan.
