3D Simulation of X-ray System

Using a 3D real-time simulation, Spirit Link Medical is able to recreate visually the proportions and operating of large, sophisticated medical equipment.

The innovative simulation system combines a real-world control console with a virtual X-ray device. The user can control the X-ray device just as they would a "real" imaging system and can acquire a feel for its operation in real-world situations.

Siemens Healthcare has already demonstrated six new X-ray systems at trade fairs using the simulator. The application of this particular simulation technology increases enormously the flexibility of product demonstrations.
